Midlothian Mines Park in Midlothian, VA is such a beautiful place pretty much any time of year, and Spring is no exception. It can just be hard to find a spot that doesn’t already have a photographer photographing.
This young family of three brought all the energy, especially the two year old; but that didn’t stop me from getting all the cute photos. It can be hard to photograph a little kid full of energy, but if you let them run around and have the mom chase them, it helps a ton.
Of course, I ran into a another photographer while I was there, but I let her do her thing while I did my thing.
Oh, and kids rocking chairs are awesome for family photography.
