Growing up, my family was always centered around capturing every picture and video imaginable, whether at home, on vacations, or wherever we went. No matter where we were, someone always had a camera in hand, from the bulky cameras of the ’80s and ’90s to the small point-and-shoots of the 2000s. Every moment, from birthdays to family outings to everyday life, was documented on film. I didn’t know it at the time, but that love for preserving everything would be the spark that ignited my career in creativity.
For my 14th birthday, I received my first camera. A year and a half later, I lost it to the ocean. It was in that moment I realized I had a calling to create, to capture, and to tell stories. Fast forward eleven years, two degrees in film, and six graphic design classes later, and here we are today.
To pay homage to my late mother, who was our family’s photographer, I created SnapDock Photography. It is a place where I can help other families create lasting memories they will cherish for a lifetime. Life can be unexpectedly short, and I believe it is important to capture the real and raw emotions that tell our stories. These moments deserve to be remembered and shared for generations to come.
Through every photo, my hope is to celebrate the love, laughter, and connection that make your family unique. The little moments often end up being the ones that mean the most.
The Snapbook is a way for me to share all things photography. You will see everything from energetic families to cute cuddles with mom, to tips on how to dress for each season. It will all be here.
So welcome to The Snapbook. I am glad you are here, and I cannot wait to share all the amazing things going on here at SnapDock Photography.
The Snapbook starts here, and I am so glad you are part of it.
